Kadalundi
The Kadalundi River is also known by the names, Karimpuzha and Oruvanpurampuzha. The river rising East of Karuvarakkundu village in the district of Calicut in Kerala state at 76 15' East longitude and 110 18' North latitude at an elevation of 900 m has a total length of 130 km from its source to its out fall and its drainage area is 1,112 sq.km. The two major tributaries are the Olupuzha and the Veliyar. No major irrigation project is in existence in the basin. The basin has no Hydel potential also. There is one CWC Hydrological Observation Station at Karathode on this river.
