Project in brief
The project is situated in Adilabad district of Andhra Pradesh state. The project as approved by Planning Commission envisages construction of headworks comprising earthen dam of length 2.400 km including Ogee Weir of length 150.00 m to dispose of the design discharge of 903 cumec and Right Flank Canal of 26 km to create an irrigation potential of 3,845 hectare with head discharge capacity of 2.65 cumec. CCA of the project is also 3845 hectare.
The project was approved by Planning Commission, Water Resource Division in the year 2006 for Rs.83.61 cr vide Planning Commission Lr. No.20(1)/2006-WR, dt. 27.06.2006. The project was included under AIBP during the year 2006-07.
